  • How far in advance should I book my charter this summer? (MAY-AUGUST)
    Summer is our busiest time of the year, so if you have a specific day and time in mind, we recommend booking at least 3 weeks in advance to secure your spot.
  • Do we need to decide what we want to do before we book?
    No, as a private charter company, we always cater to your preferences. Once onboard, the captain will ask you your preferences for your charter.
  • Do we provide snorkeling equipment?
    Yes, we provide all snorkeling equipment, as well as a snorkeling guide.
  • Are kids allowed onboard?
    Yes, kids of any age are always welcome onboard.
  • Is there shade onboard?
    Yes, there is plenty of room for everyone to sit in the shade, as well as plenty of room for everyone to lounge in the sun.
  • Is 15 guests your capacity?
    Yes, 15 guests total is our maximum capacity. All children, no matter their age, are a part of the total guest count.
  • Will it only be our group onboard?
    Yes, we only provide private charters. It will only be your group onboard.
  • Do we offer pick up?
    We are unable to offer pickups at this time, but we are conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki.
  • Do we offer any discounts?
    We do not offer any discounts. This is because we are the most affordable private charter catamaran in Waikiki. To continue to keep our prices low for everyone, we are unable to offer any discounts. Remaining affordable is very important to us because we want everyone to be able to have a private charter experience.
  • What is our cancellation policy?
    We rarely ever get cancellations, but our cancellation policy is as follows: 100% of the rental price if canceled more than 7 days prior to the commencement of the rental. 75% of the rental price if canceled less than seven days but more than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the rental. 50% of the rental price if canceled less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to the commencement of the rental.
  • Do we require full payment to reserve a booking?
    Yes, we require full payment to reserve a booking.
  • Can you book for earlier than 8am?
    Yes, to book earlier than 8am, please call us directly to inquire (808.800.3946). If our crew is available and if we have availability, then we are happy to accommodate early morning departure time requests.
  • How do I know if my suncreen is reef-safe?
    Some sunscreens are labeled reef-safe, but they are not. make sure to check your sunscreen doesn't have any of the following ingredients to make sure it's not harmful to our reefs: Oxybenzone (illegal in Hawai'i) Octinoxate (illegal in Hawai'i) Octocrylene Homosalate 4-methylbenzylidene camphor PABA Parabens Triclosan Any form of microplastic, such as “exfoliating beads” We do not allow spray-on sunscreen onboard. You're welcome to bring lotion sunscreen onboard with you. Mahalo!
  • Where are we located?
    We are located in Waikiki in Honolulu in the Ala Wai Boat Harbor. We are in slip 492. We are directly beside the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Prince Waikiki, and the Ilikai Hotel. We are in the corner slip across from the yellow Hawaiian Parasail Booth. Above our dock, you will see a white sign with teal writing that says "Private Charters". If the boat is not in it's slip, do not worry. The crew will be returning from their previous trip soon. You are welcome to wait at the dock box in front of our slip.
  • Is there parking?
    The marina offers free parking and $1/hr parking.
  • Do kids count towards the guest count?
    Yes, per coast guard regulations, kids of any age count towards your total guest count.
  • Is there an age minimum for kids?
    No, there is no age minimum. Kids of any age are always welcome onboard!
  • Do we provide life vests for children?
    Yes, we have life vests of all sizes, from infants to toddlers to adults.
  • Is there a restroom onboard?
    Yes, we have a restroom onboard.
  • Can we bring alcohol onboard?
    Yes, you are welcome to bring any kind of drinks or food that you would like onboard. Cups are provided. We have a bottle opener and wine opener onboard.
  • What time of day do we recommend for snorkeling?
    If you are looking to snorkel, we recommend the first half of the day (anytime from 8am-1pm), as marine life is typically more active at this time.
  • What is our most popular catamaran charter?
    Our most popular private catamaran charter is our 4 hour charter. Why? In 4 hours, you have the option to do all the activities that we offer. If you would like to snorkel, then we start off the charter snorkeling with turtles. After this, we go for a sail down the coast line to take in the island views. Lastly, we go to a more private anchorage near Diamond Head, and this is for jumping off the boat, swimming, pictures, enjoying your lunch, etc. With our 4 or more hours option, you are also welcome to bring things to be grilled (such as skewers, etc), and the captain will be happy to grill it up for you. Every charter is customizable though. If your group wants to skip an option, or if they want to spend more time doing one option over another, no worries, the captain will always cater to your group's preferences throughout the charter.
  • Are we able to swim on our Waikiki Sunset Cruise?
    Yes, the captain always gives you the option to get in the water if you would like.
  • What if it is raining?
    With Hawai'i, comes passing rain showers. This rarely ever impacts our charters though. If it is raining on another side of the island, that does not necessarily mean it is also raining over the water in Waikiki. Our captains are trained experts and professionals who constantly monitor the weather conditions and whose main priority is always your safety. If our captains are concerned about the weather, they will reach out to you directly to either reschedule you or offer you a full refund.
  • Do we host bachelor or bachelorette parties?
    Yes, we often have bachelor and bachelorette parties onboard. Being out on the water in Hawai'i, is a great way to celebrate.
  • Can we bring food for the grill on our Waikiki private catamaran charter?
    If you booked a 4 or more hour private charter, yes, you're welcome to brings things to be grilled, and the captain is happy to grill it for you. Plates and utensils are not provided. If you book a 3 hour private charter, you can bring things to grill *IF* you are not choosing snorkeling as one of your activities, as we can only grill at our swimming anchorage, and grilling takes up a lot of time. Mahalo! If you plan on grilling, you must let us know in advance.
